Have you ever been robbed in a major city like LA, Chicago, or New York? I know this is random but I’m up politicking with my people after a Fall Equinox session and he just shared a very interesting story, and it’s the funny shit ever.
On Crenshaw and Independence right by the train, my homie was walking and some asked him to “check it out homie”; he then knew, being from Chicago, that this wasn’t good so he had prepared hisself to give up his belongings. Cuz pulled out a black 380, tiny but “big enough to sit your ass down” though. So here’s the amazing part, after robbing him and walking off, my homie calls after cuz who said he was a Grape Street Crip, asking cuz to give him his bus card back.
Cuz pulled out his gun and asked him what then after my homie told him what he needed he kindly sent the bus card back by his partner in crime. Allowing my homie to get safely to his destination after all.
Now maybe he thought about him running into someone else who may want to rob him and they may get angry because he was already got?
Moral to the story thugs, gangbangers, and criminals have hearts 💕 too. We just have to understand their occupations and line of work, to understand how they work.
CHICAGO- Adam Hollingsworth, 33, rode the Dan Ryan Expressway to bring awareness to the slaying of our children, heading southbound from about 35th Street, where he slowed down traffic with the Illinois State Police and Chicago Police close behind asking him and the gang to exit but they refused, eventually exiting at 95th where he was taken into custody around 4:30 PM by police, as reported by WGN News.
They’re calling for the mayor and governor to fund mental health, education, social programs and new development in neighborhoods that have been neglected, and are being gentrified.
“The thing is to send a message that our children are dying, That there are no resources coming to our communities.”
Activist Mark Carter
According to journalist Vashon, Dreadhead Cowboy lead his horse Nunu 7.5 miles down the expressway before being arrested. Ironically his horse is named after one of the children shot and killed this summer, Vernado “NuNu” Jones Jr., whom we are still seeking justice for. He’s facing three (3) charges: reckless conduct, disobeying a police officer and criminal trespass.
BREAKING: The Dreadhead Cowboy is riding his horse on the Dan Ryan Expressway in Chicago, Illinois!
NuNu had multiple injuries from the trip. He was allegedly “bleeding from the left hoof, its right hoof was injured and the right side of the horse’s body had sores from the saddle.” Chicago Animal Control was called to the scene and took the animal to their facility for further care.
Adam is no stranger of being an honorable active citizen in the hood or neighborhoods across Chicago. He’s always stood loud ringing the alarm so the deaf can open their mind to the rate of how our children are being taken away from us. ALL CHILDREN life does matter; the killings of children in Chicago, the kidnapping , and human trafficking of our children must be front and center so it can be stopped.
“Earlier this summer, Mayor Lightfoot dubbed Hollingsworth “The Census Cowboy” in an effort to bring awareness around filing out the census (WGN).”
Chicago- Proiata is growing and launching October 3, 2020 at 12 PM-7 PM with fashion, music, and live art by Aiselife on 2144 W. 95th Street. They’ll be finger food and beverages to keep you energized while you engage with the brand. Music will be cued by DJ Pat XKLusive & yo baby mama’s favorite DJ, Milticket.
This a high end urban cultural event, so come with your highest regards. Save the date and meet me there, shit if you can beat me there.
Social commerce is Urban Culture’s leading stock. I support this message, not just the artist he’s supporting but the entire message to help increase the equity in Chicago’s market. We’re the 3rd largest market competing with Houston for a slot we’ve had undeniably long.
Chicago creatives and entrepreneurs should stick together more to help our market become not only navigated by us but owned by us based on our buys and/or interest.
Many enthusiasts have come from near and far places to be influenced by our culture. There are many businesses, opportunities, talent, and resources in the city of Chicago. We just have to put in our bid and own our social commerce.
Friday, September 7, 2018 King James (Jesse Stringer) and Saint “The Good Boy” (Lennell Davis) was looking for a party during after hours when they approached 79th Phillips and seen a building on fire.
I was told by a source that The Chicago Fire Department was on location and did not immediately respond to the fire. That’s what sparked both guys to go into the building on a rescue mission. Source reported that Jesse asked the Fire Fighters what were they waiting on to go into the building and one of the Fire Fighters responded by allegedly telling him to “go ahead and go in”.
I received a call from Saint shortly after they finished the rescue. For more information on the story, click link here, to get CBS2 Chicago’s account. They awkwardly produced their story deliberately stating that the The Chicago Fire Department’s Fire Fighters immediately responded, when I was told by a source, who was present, that they did not.
Nonetheless, it’s great to know that I have great friends/humans around who will sacrifice to ensure the well being of others. They could have kept riding and assumed that because the Chicago Fire Department was present they would take care of it. This is a good example of leadership and being an active citizen.
Well TMZ has done it again, lying 🤥 saying it was a 1,000 people at a house party. The party was shared live by Tink Purcell, who confirmed via one of her videos that they “were out west being ratchet”, which was the one thing TMZ did report correctly. This was definitely a Komak production.
WGN reported at 11:50 am that a viral party was out south, that was a lie. They updated their story at 1:07 PM to reflect the facts. Which is a shame because they are actually located in the local area and should have access to the information to state facts. What do you think was their purpose for creating this narrative?
I mean out west throw more successful house parties then out south and their parties are most likely to last without drama because everyone knows everyone and they have a certain level of respect for one another. Let’s just use the Fefe’s as an example because ain’t no fefe happening out south.
If this was out south, it wouldn’t have probably made it until the police came, the police would have had to be summoned due to drama.
What Should We Take Away From This and How Can We Move Forward?
People are suffering from mental and behavior issues. They are trying their best to cope with being indoors and restricted. It’s hard and not everyone can do it especially if they don’t have their purpose figured out.
This was irresponsible of them all but we are not in the position to judge 👩🏾⚖️ them, we can educate ourselves as a community (speaking to “Black or Minority” Americans) on how this effects/affects us socially and economically. It makes us look 👀 a little crazy and that we have a lack of social skills for responsibility.
Those who have children, elders, or people in their life with preexisting conditions should care to be mindful of others. Your love ❤️ ones matter. You matter and I hope you know that. I wish for them to do some research on this matter outside of the news to accept the real information that we are being targeted for depopulation, so this is a serious matter for building immunity to the Rona aka coronavirus bka Covid 19.
Ye is really from a “tribe called check a hoe”, that is Chicago. Two of hip hop’s first billionaire artist are from New York and Chicago. What a wonderful time to be alive.
According to Forbes, Ye is worth 1.3 Billion United States 🇺🇸 Dollars 💵 but according to Ye, since he claims they can’t count, he’s worth 3.3 Billion. Allegedly Kanye reached out to Forbes after they published their annual billionaires list, according to Shade Room, because they didn’t put him on it.
He texted a staff member saying “You know what you’re doing”, adding to the conversation, “You’re toying with me and I’m not finna lye [sic] down and take it anymore in Jesus name”
“Forbes journalist Zack O’Malley Greenburg explained that when the magazine featured West on the cover of the magazine last year, they didn’t label him a billionaire.”, according to CNN.
In conclusion, it seems that he was undervalued if they didn’t label him a billionaire and he had to come forward with the receipts 🧾 to receive credit for his claim. Regardless, Ye is a Billionaire, that’s facts, and he wants the world 🌎 to know.
Megan Thee Stallion is in for a big lesson when it comes to finance and contracts. March 1, Megan shared a video via Instagram dishing her contract details with 1501 Entertainment, and its CEO Carl Crawford, who’s an ex Major League Baseball player. She stated that she didn’t understand or know the verbiage that was in the contract that she signed at 20 years of age (now 25), and when she finally got a real management team with lawyers through her management deal with Roc Nation, they brought the details up to see if she understood the terms. She stated she didn’t and wanted to renegotiate. The label isn’t in favor of her releasing new music but is being sued by the artist who is seeking the termination of her contract and a temporary restraining order that has been granted by a judge in Harris County, Texas, to allow her to release new music.
Megan has accused the defendants of common law fraud, breach of contract, fraudulent inducement, fraud by non-disclosure, tortious interference with prospective business relations, violation of the Deceptive Trade Practices Consumer Protection Act, negligent misrepresentation, breach of fiduciary duty and negligence. The plaintiff is seeking a temporary and permanent injunction and a declaration that her contract is “unconscionable, unenforceable and/or void.”, according to the court documents obtained by E! News. The restraining order will expire March 16, 2020 at 11:59 PM.
What can we learn from this?
It’s important to ask questions when negotiating agreements and understanding all the terms. If you can’t afford a lawyer, it’s important to consult with people in the industry. It’s better than signing something then later having to renege on your business deal.
Yes Megan was young, and I do side with her being taken advantage of because it’s a painful history of artist being incarcerated in deals that do not serve them but those who invest in their capital to record, release, promote, and distribute their art deserve a return (ROI). I hope that this situation can be worked out because everyone deserves an accurate return based on their investment.
Chicago has been lighting up the cultural market with authenticity. Tink dropped Hopeless Romantic February14, Valentines Day and G Herbo dropped PTSD February 28; only one has been trending.
PTSD has gotten its praise for addressing the mental and behavior illness that not only plagues the city but others across the world who is prone to violence. Following his firearm arrest in 2018, Herbo went to see a therapist, suggested by his lawyer, and was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD); the inspiration for the album, the No. 4 album in the country, making it the highest charting project according to Complex.
We’ve been victimized and we don’t even know it. It’s a real mental illness, and we’re immune to it. These kids have no aspirations except what’s in front of them. They think it’s their fate. It’s transfers over to generations.
G Herbo in his interview with Billboard’s Micheal Saponara
It’s a big topic, not only in hip hop but in culture and politics (just look at the conversations surrounding Trump). Honestly someone needed to bring the subject to the forefront to be addressed because Chiraq has swallowed the truth of Chicago.
Tink addresses relationships and the issues of confused females who really need therapy. Her honesty of emotional behavior issues and giving the most of yourself to a time sensitive situation of being in love and trying to get over it. It represents the truth of what mating looks like in the city and beyond, of course it’s not just an urban legend but look at love and hip hop or other presentations of love that represents urban culture.
Even though one album is trending and the other hasn’t received as much attention for its content both are worth the listen to understand mental health and substance abuse issues. Tink and G Herbo are the voices of the new generation of Chicago. They are demonstrating the culture that raised them and the only thing you can do is listen for understanding.
FBG Duck, a Chicago Musical Illustrator, published a video recorded by Money Strong TV on his channel two days ago on Dec. 7, 2019; and with the apparent loss of legends from the City of Chicago, who are without a doubt gone too soon because of various tragic situations; he proclaims their affects in and on culture. In his illustrated story he mentions Jojo, Pappy, Zack TV, Lil Marc, Dooski, Nuski, Fredo Santana, LA Capone, Lil Mister, and Smylez. With the current loss of another great Chicago Legend Juice Wrld; and Famous Dex being recently hospitalized to recover from seizures, there is no concrete word if he has been released, there is much to be concerned about.
The murder and drug epidemic of Chicago has depreciated the circulation of producers in culture from the city, putting the ideas out there to be mocked by upcoming or lurking seasoned artist to develop from other markets. Every artist mentioned has a different level of success, impact, trade, and skill that contributed to the identity of who Chicago is in the urban culture world. A legend is someone who creates or develops a traditional story, who taps into their genius, and sculps a path for others to follow or to observe only to be influenced by their impact. No matter how well known the legend is globally, it can be very well known in pockets or wide areas to be proclaimed a legend.
Watch FBG Duck Declare Chicago Legends.
This brings attention to the social issues that we need to solve in Chicago, and beyond, that deal ultimately with poverty, civic engagement, health, and the brotherhood of humanity. His piece of art pushes towards conversations that need to be had to better our community and restore unity between the gangs or just those who are conflicted and need to heal in order to let go of past conflicts or traumas. In the words of FBG Duck, “just to show yourself a better you”, is worth the participation in helping leaders like him carry messages like this far and wide in the diaspora to help appreciate the progress made in the culture.
I’d like to send love and light to all of the families of our lost and slain ones, even those we lost to non violent tragic situations because we are all still suffering from a bigger issue. Our health, wealth, and our mind state suffers or take constant hits (Urban Dark Hue Beings) because we are in a constant state of oppression while walking dead. We must prescribe a remedy to our ignorance, discipline ourselves, and love one another because the world is depending on it. We are depending on it. You existence is dependent on it.
